its been awhile

well, so much has happened since we last met. I moved and let me tell you that was a harrowing expreience. We moved a double wide mobile home from on town to another. Let me tell you I know how Toto feels. Surreal, inside your in the same house, but once you go out forget it, all new smells and totally have to remark your territory. There were boxes everywhere and furniture moved in all directions. I had my owner really going and coming to move things out of my way. Things have pretty much gotten back to normal, but I'll keep you posted.

catching up

I know that I have not updated my blog lately, it's just that I have been busy. We are trying to get ready to move and that is very hard with one of my owners away all the time.
the weather seems to be cooling off some, so that now I am able to run around the yard and bark at dark shadows ( that really freaks out the woman ). I have been following some other blogs, and I so do enjoy living vicariously through others!!!

Road Trip

I went on a road trip to Orlando on the big truck with my owner and her husband.
We had a delivery to make. We got there Sunday night and unloaded Monday morning.
We really had some bonding time, I sat in my owners lap for most of the trip. Monday we went below Miami to get another load going to La.

The Weekend

This weekend we took a trip to Alabaster, to see some other family members. They are not that crazy about me, and I stayed at their house all by myself all day Saturday while they went to the ball park. I had to share the yard with their dog, Bandit, but it worked out ok, I just tried very hard to avoid going out when he was in sight. Sunday we came home and I really was very tired from the drive, and went to bed early.

a day in the life

well, my owner came home last night from her trip to New York. I was very glad to see her, but I acted only mildly interested. I have been chilling out under the bed all day where it peaceful and cool. I thought I heard her and the man discussing my need for a bath, so that is also why I am laying low.

change of hands

Well, I am going to start to blog for myself instead of my owner. she sometimes tends to be a little to OCD. Today I am much better, I really had her going, she carried me up and down the stairs so much I almost felt sorry for her(almost).
All I have to do is look at her with my big brown eyes and she is a puddle.
Enough for now I feel nature calling.

Prissie's Day

Prissie had a very bad day today, she has been very ill since her grooming appointment on Friday. She is staying in and under the bed all day. I have to pick her up to take her out to do her daily rituals. Then she has to be picked up and carried up the stairs.
She seems very resentful of the small child in our home during the day.
I fluffed up her hair today think that when you look better, you feel better.
